Led the Mechanical Sub-Team as the Team Leader, driving the design and manufacturing processes for competitions. Oversaw the production of vital robot components utilizing CAD technology. Fostered collaboration with the Software Sub-Team to create algorithms that improved speed and safety in competition settings. Successfully achieved international qualification for the 2023 FIRST competition, engaging in spirited competition with teams from around the world.

Prototype 1U CubeSat

December 2021 - May 2022

Crafted an eco-friendly prototype that utilized Raspberry Pi and Bluetooth libraries to detect plastics in ocean water. Achieved a high processing success rate, thanks to the application of computer vision and image processing algorithms, including NumPy and PyTorch. Qualified for the final event as one out of nine teams and presented final product to five MIT professors and NASA scientists.

Embedded Security & Hardware

July 2022 - August 2022

Developed a resilient bootloader within an embedded system, incorporating advanced AES and RSA encryption algorithms. Explored and addressed vulnerabilities in embedded system bootloaders, resulting in a 255% enhancement in system security. Teamed up with three other students to create a security-centric bootloader, achieving 3rd place in the Embedded Capture the Flag Competition. Presented the finalized product to MIT Lincoln Labs.

Alien Invaders Game

Alien invaders game inpsired by space invaders. Adjustable speed and simple mechanics. All created in python. Aliens move across the board, top to bottom and player controls ship capable of shooting aliens. Aliens also shoot back and, if aliens cross line or a bullet hits spaceship, player loses. Otherwise, if player shoots down all aliens, player wins.

Coordinated sessions and managed hours on a spreadsheet for a team of over 150 tutors. Implemented communication to remind tutors of available sessions and ensured accurate updates to the spreadsheet for optimal operational efficiency.
